Abstract

"This study addressed the criminal specificity of economic crime as one of the modern crimes affecting the economic and social stability of the state by highlighting its substantive and procedural characteristics in algerian legislation the substantive aspect focused on the legal material and moral elements of economic crime as well as the resulting criminal liability. The procedural aspect examined the specificity of public prosecution in terms of its restrictions initiantion and settlemnt in addition to procedures relatedto seizure investigation and referral. The study concluded that the special nature of economic crime requires distinct Irgal and procedural rules adapted to its seriousness and its negative impact on the national economy in order to ensure effective prevention and adequate deterrence."
