Résumé
This thesis addresses the regulation of paternity provisions under the Algerian Family Code through the study of the concept, types, and legal effects of paternity. It also highlights the importance of paternity in protecting family relations and ensuring children's rights within society. The first chapter is devoted to defining paternity, explaining its types, and presenting its legal consequences such as lineage, inheritance, and maintenance. The second chapter discusses the methods of establishing paternity in Algerian law through both legal and modern scientific means. It also examines the denial of paternity according to Islamic law and Algerian legislation. The study concludes that the Algerian legislator sought to reconcile Islamic principles with modern legal and scientific developments. These provisions mainly aim to preserve family stability and protect the best interests of the child
