Abstract

This memorandum aims to study the issue of protection inventions in Algerian law, which is considered one of the topics of great importance to legal and economic researchers, due to ifs important positive impact on the economies of countries. The effects of granting a patent under Algerian legislation are greater, such as the rights of the patent owner such as monopoly and the right to dispose of by all legal means, in addition to obligations imposed on the patent owner with the aim of making full use of it. Despite this, the study shows that the patent may expire for several reasons. This results in legal protection, whether through criminal protection or civil protection, which gives him the right to claim compensation and file lawsuits against unfair competition and invention. In conclusion, a set of results and suggestions were presented that aim to have a positive impact on the patent legal system in Algeria.
