Abstract
This study aims to find out how the knowledge economy is affected by
economic growth through a standard study during the period (2000-2020), using
the Self-Regression Methodology for Distributed Time Gaps (ARDL), based on
World Bank statistiques and Federal Reserve economic data.
The study found that there is a long-term relationship of common integration
between knowledge indicators and economic growth, and it was also found that
the research, development, media and communication technology indicators
negatively affect economic growth, as opposed to the education and training
index, which positively affects economic growth, as well as the ability of the
error correction model to quickly return to its long-term balance value, and after
testing the stability of the model using the model (CUSUM , CUSUMSQ)
concluded that there is structural stability of the study results except at certain
periods
