Abstract

This study aims to find out how the knowledge economy is affected by economic growth through a standard study during the period (2000-2020), using the Self-Regression Methodology for Distributed Time Gaps (ARDL), based on World Bank statistiques and Federal Reserve economic data. The study found that there is a long-term relationship of common integration between knowledge indicators and economic growth, and it was also found that the research, development, media and communication technology indicators negatively affect economic growth, as opposed to the education and training index, which positively affects economic growth, as well as the ability of the error correction model to quickly return to its long-term balance value, and after testing the stability of the model using the model (CUSUM , CUSUMSQ) concluded that there is structural stability of the study results except at certain periods
