Wastewater pollution by dyes is one of the major problems that needs to be addressed. Only industrialized countries use many conventional methods to remove dyes from wastewater. In this thesis, we focus on the absorption process of textile dyes. The treatment is carried out using a biologically absorbent material, in this case cellulose. We analyze the effect of various operational parameters on the amount of absorption, including contact time, initial formulation concentration, and solution pH.en_US
