dc.description.abstractThe present work is a study of physical properties (structural, electronic, optical, and thermoelectric...etc.), alloys based on bismuth, and lanthanides. This will allow us to define the problem of phase stability as well as the problem of the role of electrons in this stability using the method of augmented and linearized plane waves at total potential (FP-LAPW) implemented in the Wien2k code. Materials based on bismuth and lanthanides have been intensively studied because of their numerous technological applications, especially in the fields of spintronics, optoelectronics and thermoelectric (renewable energy sources).en_US
