Abstract

"Divorce is a means of terminating the marital relationship in accordance with Sharia and legal regulations; the legislator has established rules governing it due to the consequences it entails for the spouses and the family. The study addresses the legitimacy of divorce under Islamic Sharia—grounded in the Quran, Sunnah, and consensus (Ijma)—as well as its various forms and associated rulings. Notably, the divorce of a minor is governed by specific rules, reflecting the special legal protections afforded to minors."
