The crude ethanolic, dichloromethane and aqueous extracts were obtained by the extraction methods, the respective yields are: 27%, 6%, and 38%; the dichloromethane extract has the best value in the polyphenols assay of 10.5 mg/g, followed by the ethanol extract has a value of 9.3 mg/g, and finally the aqueous extract has a value of 6.3 mg/g. The phytochemical tests interest: alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins and reducing compounds. the results of the antioxidant activity show that the ethanolic extract has the highest antioxidant activity (IC50= 0.0025g/L), followed by the aqueous extract (IC50= 0.0043 g/L).
