Abstract

Through the study, alternatives and new financing methods have been developed which are in accordance with the financial requirements and needs of small and medium sized enterprises, and the role of the bank is not limited to granting the loan only, but follows also the project process through a committee in charge of small and medium sized enterprises. Small and medium sized enterprises have a major role in achiev ing economic development, through the characteristics they benefit from and the contribution they make to provide employment opportunities, and what they achieve by maximizing added value and by increasing the volume of investment. companies is linked to t he provision of appropriate sources of financing and the rigorous management of the various internal and external elements linked to its activities. By examining the contribution of one of these banks to the financing of small and medium sized enterprises, which is the Algerian Foreign Bank, we found that the results obtained in the field of project financing are acceptable and positive
