Abstract

The phenomea of asylum is one of the oldest challenges facing human societies. The twentieth century marked the beginning of legislation governing it. The international community has adopted several international and regional conventions and treaties to regulate them,including rights and obligations towards refugees. the importance of asylum is increasing today due to the worsening internal conditions in many Arab,European and African contries So, in folds of this research we deals with two chapters each of have great importance. In chapter one, we address the scope of international protection, including the definition of asylum, refugee ,the types of asylum and reasons for it and international refugee protection mechanisms in various international instrument. In chapter two ,we address the various organizations that have been involved in this category, through which they demonstrate their compatibility with their contributions to the protection of refugees.
