This thesis explores the biosynthesis of hybrid nanocomposites composed of mesoporous silica SBA-15 functionalized with palladium (Pd) nanoparticles, focusing on eco-friendly methods using plant extracts. The green synthesis of Pd nanoparticles is integrated into the SBA-15 matrix to obtain a composite material exhibiting homogeneous dispersion of nanoparticles and an ordered porous structure. The study highlights the role of biomolecules present in the plant extracts as reducing agents. These biomolecules reduce Pd ions into well-dispersed nanoparticles within the pores of SBA-15. This hybrid material demonstrates excellent catalytic activity and stability. It is particularly effective for the degradation of organic dyes in wastewater, offering a sustainable solution for pollution remediation. The SBA-15 support promotes the dispersion and reuse of Pd nanoparticles. These SBA-15/Pd nanocomposites show strong catalytic potential, especially for applications in the degradation of organic pollutants, thus providing a sustainable and efficient solution in the field of green catalysis, with promising large-scale industrial and environmental applications.en_US
