Abstract

Forgery crimes are among the most serious and common crimes that undermine public trust. Due to their specific nature, the Algerian legislature removed them from the Penal Code as a general law and issued a specific law to combat them within the framework of a modern criminal policy. This law, Law No24-02 of February 2024, on combating forgery and the use of forged documents, established several preventive measures, most notably technical, legal, and administrative measures.
