This study explores the criminal liability of physicians under Algerian law, highlighting the legal and ethical responsibilities that govern medical practice. It examines the definition and elements of medical crimes—including the physical, moral, and legal components—and emphasizes that doctors are subject to legal accountability when they commit errors, negligence, or violate professional standards. The study categorizes different types of medical offenses, such as illegal abortion, unlawful organ transplants, falsifying medical certificates, and breach of medical confidentiality. It also considers evidence mechanisms, including medical reports, expert opinions, witness testimonies, and confessions. The research stresses the importance of adapting the legal framework to match modern medical advancements and ensuring a balance between the physician’s freedom to practice and the patient's right to safety.en_US
