Abstract

In this study, we sought to shed light on the principles of economic intelligence, which has become one of the inevitable options to achieve survival, continuity, and competitiveness. The study aims to reveal the role of economic intelligence in developing financial engineering mechanisms in the commercial bank. Dimensions of economic intelligence, strategic vigilance, protection activities, and pressure and influence activities). We also took the case of the Foreign Bank of Algeria - Ain Temouchent - for the study, and we relied on the interview as well as the observation in addition to the questionnaire, which was considered a main tool for collecting information, which was analyzed using the spss software, as the study found that there was no correlation between the activation of the economic intelligence system and the development of The mechanisms of financial engineering in the bank , and the study concluded with a set of suggestions and recommendations that enable the bank to face threats and ensure survival and continuity
