dc.description.abstractCurrently, the application of wireless underwater sensor networks (WS-CSN) has experienced significant growth and remarkable developments due to the technological evolution. However, it still suffers from power limitation issues, in addition to the importance of routing and its significant impact on the performance of the underwater WSN. To solve these problems, there are several protocols to reduce the power consumption and extend the lifetime of sensor nodes in the SCN-MS. In our research, our proposed FAG algorithm combines between clustering using FCM technique and chain principle using genetic algorithm, A hybrid technique between FCM and GA was made .Then an evaluation in terms of energy consumption and lifetime of nodes was presented and discussed with a comparison with another algorithm based on ACO.en_US
