التحديات التي تواجه تطبيق الذكاء الإصطناعي في البنوك الجزائرية

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges of adopting artificial intelligence in Algerian banks as part of efforts to promote digital transformation. It uses a descriptive approach and is based on interviews conducted with officials from the Banque Extérieure d'Algérie - Ain Témouchent branch, with data analyzed using Maxqda v2024 software. The results showed that artificial intelligence has not yet been effectively integrated and is limited to basic digital applications, with limited awareness of its potential. In the Banque Extérieure d'Algérie, the technologies used do not meet international standards. The main challenges identified include: weak technological infrastructure, lack of a clear strategic vision, shortage of specialized skills, poor coordination, an unmotivating regulatory environment, and limited digital culture among some employees.
