Abstract
This thesis addresses the conceptual and legal framework of children and cybercrime in Algerian legislation. The first chapter includes definitions and key concepts regarding children and cybercrime, as well as a study of the legal framework of cybercrime, its elements, factors of its commission, and its effects on children. The second chapter focuses on legal mechanisms to protect children from the dangers of the Internet, examining types of cybercrimes targeting children, such as defamation, bullying, blackmail, and incitement to suicide. It also discusses deterrent mechanisms and efforts to combat these crimes in Algerian legislation, as well as the compatibility of legal texts with technological developments.
