Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of electronic banking and its role
in improving the quality of banking services in the state of Ain Temouchent,
and the study showed that electronic banks are a good and important way to
attract customers and develop and develop electronic commerce in Ain
Temouchent. And that its impact is limited to customers who are proficient in
dealing with the Internet. And that the advantages that accrue to the bank in
the case of providing services via the Internet are reducing costs, increasing the
volume of commercial transactions, ease of access to local and international
markets, improving customer services, the ability to provide services around
the clock, saving time and effort, and collecting information about competitors
from Through the Internet pages, the banking system is perhaps one of the
most sensitive sectors in terms of being affected by the external environment,
which is reflected in the volume and quality of the activity of this system. Banks
work to attract customers, retain existing customers, and gain their satisfaction
and trust by improving the quality of their services. Therefore, customers are
considered the focus of banks’ attention. Including the specifications that it
converts into standards according to which modern and advanced services are
produced. Every service that is devoid of these standards is doomed to failure
because it does not carry the quality specifications in the eyes of its recipients.
This is why banks are racing to win the largest number of customers while
making the effort to maintain existing customers.
