Abstract

"E-commerce has become the present and the future, leading countries to seek an alternative to the traditional signature and replace it with an electronic signature, while preserving its legality. For the electronic signature to fulfill its role in proving electronic transactions, the highest level of security must be provided, which has created a new challenge: protecting the electronic consumer from cybercrimes that may occur in such transactions. This study aims to highlight the extent of the evidentiary value of the electronic signature and its role in the field of e-commerce, whether internationally, nationally, or even globally."
