dc.description.abstractThis work addresses sensorless vector control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) using an MRAS observer. It covers motor modeling in the (a,b,c) and (d,q) reference frames and the power supply chain, followed by the development of flux-oriented vector control with PI regulators. After comparing sensorless estimation techniques, the MRAS observer based on stator current is selected. Simulations confirmed accurate estimation of rotor speed and position, validating a high-performance, cost- reduced control strategy.
