Elimination 2BE-NW par des sorbants naturels

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of two natural biopolymers, chitin and chitosan, for the absorption of the textile dye Red Télon Lumière from an aqueous solution. The experimental analysis examines the impact of various elements such as the initial dye concentration, pH, contact duration, and also includes modeling using Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms. The data indicate that chitosan has a higher adsorption capacity than chitin, due to the amine groups that promote interactions with the dye. Chitosan thus proves to be a highly effective biosorbent for the purification of colored waters.
