Optimisation d'un algorithme de traitement d'image sur l'environnement de développement DSP (TMS320C6713 DSK)

Abstract

A "Digital Signal Processor" DSP, which could be translated as a "digital signal processor", is a microprocessor that is optimized to run digital signal processing applications (filtering, extracting signals, etc.) as quickly as possible. DSPs are used in most digital signal processing applications in real time. They are found in modems (RTC modem, ADSL modem), mobile phones, multimedia devices (MP3 players), GPS receivers ... They are also used in video systems, sound processing chains, wherever a signal is received which must be modified using the filtering. The aim of this end-of-study project is to study the architecture of the DSPs and more particularly that of TEXAS INSTRUMENT, the TMS320C6713, as well as the implementation on the evaluation boardTMS320C6713DSK of a modified median filter using the type of 4-neighborhood and 8-neighborhood to reduce noise.
