Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a cardiac monitoring system that combines ECG and PPG signals to measure heart rate and extract key electrophysiological intervals such as RR, QT, and PPT. The system consists of an analog signal conditioning chain and digital processing based on an Arduino Uno board. The goal is to provide a reliable, affordable, and non-invasive solution for real-time cardiac activity monitoring. The report is structured into three chapters: a presentation of the cardiovascular system and signal basics, a study of the hardware and software design, and an analysis of the experimental tests. This project supports the development of simple and accessible health technologies adapted to modern cardiovascular monitoring needs.
