إلتزامات الشاحن في عقد النقل البحري للبضائع

Résumé

"The shipper’s obligations are considered fundamental in the contract of carriage of goods by sea, as they ensure the safety of goods and the proper execution of maritime transport operations. These obligations include preparing and packaging goods, providing accurate information, declaring dangerous goods, and paying freight charges. Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in the shipper’s legal liability and compensation for damages. Algerian maritime legislation has been influenced by international maritime conventions, particularly the Hamburg and Rotterdam Rules. However, some legal provisions still require modernization to meet recent developments in maritime transport ."
