Abstract

The aim of this study is to highlight the impact of trade exchanges on the Algerian economy growth in light of the reliance on the euro-Mediterranean partnership using VECM model. According to Johansen cointegration test the results show a positive correlation with economic growth and all the study variables in the long term, While, in the short term based on the Granger test, we conclude that there is a causality relationship between the economic growth rate as a dependent variable and the rate of trade openness
