Abstract
The Postal and Electronic Communications Control Authority is an independent administrative authority provided by the legislator under Law 2000-03 under the name of the Postal and Telecommunications Control Authority for the purpose of promoting the postal and communications sector after it was monopolized by the state, to renew its establishment under Law 18-04 with its current name. Enhancing its independence and legal status with a set of texts and powers, while giving more flexibility in line with developments in the world’s various legislation.
The supervisory role is one of the authority’s most important competencies recognized the legislator for the purpose of controlling the postal sector and electronic communications, as well as protecting customers and giving more seamless competition and investment, through previous control tasks and stimulating investment and a subsequent one that includes sending legitimate competition rules through the granting of licenses and credits.
