The present work is an autoécological study of the two species: Eucalyptus camaldulensis and Eucalyptus gomphocephala of the region of Ain Temouchent, located in the North-West of Algeria. The objective of this study is to assess the degree of variability existing between the two species of eucalyptus, on the climatic, edaphic and histological level. The choice of the two study stations was made subjectively based on the presence of eucalyptus and accessibility to the land. The study method was based on the phytoecological approach at the scale of the ecological region for the bioclimatic study and on a very large scale for the edaphic study on the one hand and histological study of the roots, branches, and leaves of the two species, on the other hand. In addition, the results obtained show that there is an almost total histological similarity between the two species studied and there is not a great influence of the variety and edaphic and climatic variability on the anatomical characterizations of the latter. However, these results also confirm that the two species of eucalyptus: camaldulensis and gomphocephala have a remarkable adaptability to different pedoclimatic factors.en_US
