The objective of this manuscript is to study and design a miniature and broadband fractal antenna under the 3D design software CST Microwave Studio, powered with a simple 50 micro-strip line, proposed for operation between 10.7 GHz and 12.7 GHz for space application. We used an FR4 type substrate with a thickness of 1.6 mm and a permittivity of 4.3. Two adaptation techniques were used, including the quarter-wave line at the end of the feed line and the insertion of notches on the patch. Subsequently, the structure technique with irregular ground plane (Defective Ground Structure, DGS) is used to improve the performance and increase the bandwidth to be able to use this antenna in broadband applications. The simulation results are very satisfactory in terms of reflection parameter S11=-20.12 dB, VSWR=1.074, bandwidth Bp= 6.23%, gain G=3.25 dB and directivity D= 3.15 dB. Finally, a new form of miniature fractal printed antenna dedicated for space applications is simulated.en_US
