Abstract

It also demonstrated the impact of modern technology on the way work is carried out and the methods of control inside and outside the institution, which has led to the expansion of the authority of electronic control and what may result from it in terms of harming the worker's private life. On the other hand, the Algerian legislator was keen to establish a set of legal guarantees to protect the worker's privacy and achieve a balance between the interest of the institution and the worker's individual rights and freedoms, by regulating means of monitoring and obligating the employer to respect the worker's dignity and not to be arbitrary in using technological means. Accordingly, technological development, despite the flexibility, effectiveness, and economic and professional advantages it has achieved, imposes, on the other hand, the necessity of constantly developing the legal system to keep pace with modern transformations, ensure the protection of the rights of the parties to the employment relationship, and achieve stability within the contemporary work environment.
