Abstract

The world today is interacting with the information and communication revolution, which has led to changes in society in all its scientific and practical aspects. This has prompted legislators in some countries to keep pace with these developments through legislation, particularly in commercial transactions. The Algerian legislator has established courts with the authority to adjudicate commercial disputes, designated as specialized commercial courts, and has organized them under Law No. 22-13, amending and supplementing Law No. 08-09, which includes the Code of Civil and Administrative Procedures. In addition, specialized judges and assistants knowledgeable in commercial matters have been empowered, and the role of alternative dispute resolution methods, particularly conciliation in specialized commercial courts as a mandatory formal procedure, has been activated, making mediation in the commercial division obligatory.
