Résumé
Thermodynamic solar plants transform the energy radiated by the sun into heat and then
convert this heat into a mechanical and electrical energy via an electrical generator. A
reduction of the production cost by least 50% must be envisaged for 2015 so that these
technologies can compete with the conventional fossil, nuclear or hydraulic technologies. This
objective requires an improvement in the performance gain and thus specific works on the
concentrators, receivers and storage devices. This article presents the technologies
implemented in the solar plants as well as the criteria of selection and dimensioning for their
essential components.
