Abstract

The press plays an important role at the present time. In turn ,it disseminates information and issues of interest to members of society and enlightens public opinion .It is recognized that it enjoys freedom of opinion and expression because of its role in the primacy of public rights and freedoms .it must therefore be exercised within its legal framework . From this point of view, our study comes to detect various press offences, especially since the journalist, as any professional person, has to abide by the provisions of the constitution and the law in the performance of his work, is to go beyond the prohibited framework and breach it after committing a press offence that results in sanctions and is defined by Algerian legislation through the penal and media laws. Media offences are difficult to identify those responsible due to the large number of interventions and overlapping roles. Therefore, the legislator must develop solutions to this problem, since he has introduced a system of solidarity responsibility after introducing a system of gradual liability
