dc.description.abstractThis thesis focuses on the design and development of an innovative rescue device for aquatic environments: an intelligent and remote-controlled lifebuoy. Faced with the increasing number of drowning incidents, particularly during the summer season, and the limitations of traditional rescue methods, it has become essential to develop technological solutions that can enhance the speed and efficiency of rescue operations. This project aims to build a functional and low-cost prototype suited to local needs, incorporating electronic components such as a microcontroller, sensors, motors, and a remote-control interface. The system is designed to quickly locate a drowning person, approach them either autonomously or manually, and keep them afloat until help arrives. This work combines technical, human, and environmental considerations, placing technological innovation at the heart of aquatic safety.en_US
