Abstract

"This study addressed the legal protection of spouses through the premarital medical examination by clarifying its conceptual and regulatory framework and its preventive role in reducing the spread of genetic and infectious diseases that may affect marital stability. It also focused on the medical tests included in the certificate, the legal procedures governing it, and the consequences of non-compliance. The study concluded that the medical certificate is a fundamental preventive mechanism to ensure transparency between partners and promote health awareness before marriage. It also highlighted its importance in protecting family public health and reducing future marital disputes. "
