The phonocardiogram PCG signal represents the sound recording of heart sounds. The study of intracardiac hemodynamics allows to understand the nature and origin of these normal and abnormal heart sounds. Technical advances in segmentation signal PCG allow better characterize intracardiac activity and myocardial pathological functioning circumstances. In order to further highlight the segmentation of PCG signals based on the importance of their superimposed breaths, we developed an envelope detection algorithm to delineate the beginnings and ends of Hilbert noises B1, B2 and breaths to give an assessment of their average length. Application of the Hilbert transform in the segmentation of sounds, heart murmurs and click to shown efficacy in the study of clicks and systolic and diastolic murmurs different PCG signals.en_US
