Nowadays printed antennas are the most used technology in the field of telecommunications, these antennas were miniaturized to facilitate the integration in various devices. our research work has the objective of simulating a rectangular patch antenna which radiates at 2.4GHZ and miniaturizing it by using the insertion of slots as a technique, while keeping its performances (gain, directivity, bandwidth), this antenna is powered by a micro ribbon line and adapted to an input impedance at 50 ohm with optimal radiation characteristics, The results of simulations were validated by using CST software.en_US
