dc.description.abstractThe present work relates to a numerical analysis of the dynamics of FGM rotors, the system constitutes a shaft in FGM with an isotropic disc supported by bearings. A theoretical study is made allowing the establishment of the kinetic energies and deformation based on the model of Euler Bernoulli requires the determination of the equations of motion from the equations of Lagrange. The “p” version finite element method is used to model the studied structure. In this study we adopted two structures where the shaft FGM consists of two metal-ceramic mixtures (SUS304-Zircone) and (SUS304-Silicon Nitride) where the properties change gradually in the direction of the thickness to study the influence of the volume index and the geometric ratio L/D on the natural frequencies. We used the APPROTOR application for the calculation of the natural frequencies of the system, the results of which are presented in the form of graphs and comparisonsen_US
