Abstract

"This study aims to highlight the most important legal mechanisms introduced by Law 18/07 in the field of personal data protection. The legal framework governing this field was analysed by distinguishing between the concepts of electronic contracts and digital data, and clarifying their nature and specificity. The study also addressed the importance of such data in commercial transactions and the violations that may affect their integrity, which underscores the need to establish effective legal mechanisms—both institutional and penal—to ensure their protection."
