Abstract

"The digital medium, in all its forms including the Internet, electronic games, and social media platforms has evolved, for children, from being a tool for learning and entertainment into a highly fertile environment for the growth of cybercrime. Criminals operating behind screens exploit children's innocence curiosity, and lack of awareness of digital risks, such as online grooming. The paradox lies in the fact that technology provides cybercriminals with a ""shield of anonymity,"" enabling them to conceal their identities and gain easy access to child victims within their private digital environment

The study of this topic reflects a conflict between the rapid and relentless evolution of the digital environment and the rigidity of legal frameworks in protecting children's rights and privacy. Successfully combating this type of crime requires more than merely enacting stricter laws and imposing harsher penalties; rather, it calls for the formulation of intelligent and flexible criminal legislation capable of anticipating and accommodating evolving forms of cybercriminal behavior. At the same time, the role of families and technoiogy companies must be strengthened to provide a preventive environment and proactive protection before judicial intervention becomes necessary."قانون خاص
