Abstract
Solar energy is a clean and renewable source of energy that depends on the sun. This
energy allows the production of electricity from photovoltaic panels or solar thermal power
plants, thanks to the sunlight collected by the solar panels.
In this final thesis, we used Photovoltaic Solar energy equipment controlled by computer
with SCADA (EESFC), Equipment controlled by computer (PC), where the system consists
essentially of two photovoltaic solar panels, solar simulator composed of solar lamps and
storage battery and inverter, for the use of the energy delivered by the two panels. In order to
describe the two photovoltaic solar panels, we have solved four exercises to study the
characteristics of the two photovoltaic panels according to several individual configurations,
parallel and series, and according to several parameters such as Rheostat, the intensity of
lighting, use of fans…etc. It has been found that the maximum power value depends on the
position of the rheostat. The intensity of the radiation is responsible for the power efficiency
and the efficiency depends on the current intensity. In addition, connecting the two panels in
parallel and in series increases the output current and the voltage respectively, as well as the
characteristics of the panels supplied by the manufacturer have been verified and confirmed.
Finally, the influence of temperature in the efficiency of the panels was recognized. In addition
to some prospects in this technology.
