Abstract

"This study aims to analyze the factors influencing public health expenditures in Algeria, given the continuous increase in these expenditures from year to year. To achieve this goal, several research methodologies were employed, including documentary, analytical, and experimental research using the ARDL model. The study found a relationship between some of the study variables and the dependent variable in the short term. Specifically, there is a statistically significant negative relationship between per capita public health expenditure in the previous period and current expenditure, and a positive relationship between the change in per capita public health expenditure in the previous period and the current change. The results also showed that the change in the labor force participation rate in the previous period is positively related to public health expenditures."
