L’auto-organisation topologique pour la tolérance des pannes dans les réseaux de capteurs sans fil

Abstract

Fault tolerance in networks plays a crucial role in our modern society. Failures can have serious consequences, which is why it is essential to develop strategies, technologies, and mechanisms to maintain network operations despite these failures. Our main objective is to implement a self-organizing solution to ensure operational continuity even in the event of node failures. To achieve this, we have utilized a clustering approach, which involves grouping nodes together to facilitate the management of failures and the replacement of faulty nodes. This approach allows for the creation of redundant node groups within each cluster to ensure improved fault tolerance. We have also analyzed the impact of factors such as network size, performance metrics (such as energy, distance, and reliability), and node mobility on the efficiency of replacing faulty nodes. These advancements pave the way for further research and practical improvements to ensure the reliability and resilience of these critical networks.
