سرد المقاومة و دلالة الشخصيات في رواية ماء و ملح لسارة النمس

Abstract

This research analyzes the features of resistance narrative in the novel Water and Salt by the Algerian writer Sarah Al-Nams. The study highlights different forms of Palestinian resistance—social, political, psychological, feminist, and cultural—while also exploring the diversity and symbolism of characters in the novel. The aim is to uncover the relationship between characters and narrative elements, and how they reflect the collective struggle of the Palestinian people under occupation. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to understand the narrative structure and extract the tools used to convey resistance through storytelling. The novel serves as a mirror of Palestinian reality, told through the protagonist Salma, whose personal journey merges with that of her nation.
