Abstract
The functions of training and performance evaluation are important for institutions as they help in planning human resources and making administrative decisions regarding its employees based on the outcomes and method of training applied withing the institution applied. This, in turn, enhances the institution’s performance in achieving its objectives and meeting the needs of the national market.
We will attempt to address this topic by highlighting the importance of on-the-job training results within the institution in relation to performance evaluation, particularly in identifying indicators of the need for training and its evaluation. To explore this topic, we will conduct a case study at the Directorate of Water Resources of the Wilaya of Ain Temouchent. The topic will be analyzed using a questionnaire to collect relevant information, which will help us answer the research problem and confirm or refute the proposed hypotheses. We selected the study sample to include employees from all categories (technician, senior technician, executive, senior executive) and analyzed the data using a quantitative approach.
