Abstract
This study aimed to shed light on the reality of smart management in Algerian public institutions, with a focus on the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA) as an applied case, in the context of efforts to improve institutional performance and activate modern management tools.
The study adopted a descriptive and analytical methodology, supported by a field study in which 40 questionnaires were distributed to a sample of agency employees, of which 38 were retrieved and deemed valid for analysis. The questionnaire covered three main axes: challenges, assessment of current management, and opportunities for implementing smart management.
The results showed an increasing awareness among employees of smart management concepts; however, actual implementation still faces obstacles related to infrastructure, training, and internal resistance. Nevertheless, there is an institutional will and strategic orientation to adopt this model in the future.
