Abstract

"the study focused on the sustainable performance of algerian economic institutions, using a comparative approach with leading global companies such as unilever, Orsted, and patagonia, and algerian companies such as sonatrach, ooredoo. and biopharm. the study addressed the three main dimensions of sustainability: economic, social, and environmental, with an integrated vison that combines the goals of sustainability with insitutional performance. the results showed that sonatrach, ooredoo, and biopharm do not have a comprehensive approach to activating sustainability, due to weak awareness and absence of a clear and structured policy compared to global institutions, which are more advanced in integrating sustainability into their operations. these global institutions adopt accurate standards and advanced practices. it was confirmed that activating sustainable performance in algerian institutions requires efforts on several leveis: regulatory frameworks, corporate awareness, and setting a clear vision and future goals, based on sustainability standards.
