Abstract

This paper examines the novel "Black Suits You" by the Algerian writer Ahlam Mosteghanemi, one of the most prominent literary works in contemporary Algerian literature. The novel reflects issues of identity, memory, and love within an intertwined framework of historical and social events. The study focuses on analyzing the narrative style and the main themes addressed in the novel, which include: - identity and alienation; - memory of love and colonialism; - love and fate; - language and style.
