Abstract
In my dissertation, I explored the topic of educationaldiscourseat the secondaryeducationlevel, analyzingits structure and content in Arabiclanguagetextbooks in Algeria, SaudiArabia, and Tunisia.
I began by presenting key concepts such as discourse, educationaldiscourse, textbook, curriculum, and structure. In the first chapter, I focused on listing and describing the materials and curricula of the three countries, while the second chapterexaminedtheirfunctionality. I alsodedicated a section to highlighting the similarities and differencesbetweenthem.
The studywasbased on the descriptive-analyticalmethod to grasp the educational and intellectual dimensions reflected in thesediscourses.
The purpose of this dissertation was to assess the current state of educationaldiscourse and its impact on students, as well as itsalignmentwith the presentcontext.
The researchconcludedthat the discoursereflects the culture of each country. The dissertation wassupported by a set of sources and references and concludedwithasummary of findings, recommendations, and severalproposed suggestions
