Abstract
"The domain of information and communication technology has witnessed an accelerated development lately including digitization which is the process of converting information into a digital format. In deed, digitalisation has become crucial for efficient data handling, storage, and transmission. It offers numerous benefits, including improved accessibility, reduced costs, enhanced collaboration, and increased efficiency in various sectors. It has become an inevitable necessity for aspiring institutions to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, especially in managing their human resources
This study came to enlighten the role of digitization in improving human resource management, by focusing on the experience of the National Fund for Social Insurance Workers - Ain Temouchent Agency. The descriptive-analytical and qualitative approaches were adopted in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject from both theoretical and field perspectives. The study was conducted on a population of 273 employees, and a purposive sample was selected, consisting of department heads, executives, and employees directly involved in the implementation of digitalization in human resources management, totaling 11 employees.
The results showed that digitization has significantly contributed to facilitating procedures, improving internal communication, and enhancing the accuracy of information, which reflected positively on employee satisfaction and the effectiveness of administrative performance.
Nevertheless, the study showed that there are some difficulties, especially those related to the lack of training, the limited technical capabilities, and the absence of willingness to change in some employees. Hence, the study concluded that the success of digitization is not limited to the availability of tools, but also requires a clear organizational will, continuous support, and a directed composition that suits the privacy of the institution.
