Abstract
The arabic longuage is considered one of the most important means of
communication through speech.Howevere ,it primarily depends on vocal articulation
in various situations, which makes it difficult for thos who are deaf or hard of hearing
io use it in daily life. This has necessitated the emergence of other forms of
communication that rely on non-verbal cues to express ideas and feelings. These
include gestures and sign languge , which are widely used among the deaf and hard-
of-hearing community. Communication without sound or voice has becom a necessity
in places where speaking is not possible. Therefore, people have increasingly relied on
facial expressions and body movements. Sign languag has gained significant
importance in recent years, particularly as a means of integrating the deaf into society
and enhancing their social and educational roles. This study aims to highlight the
importance of non-verbal communication in Arabic and to understand how it helps
bridage the gap between the deaf and to hearing. The study also attempts to analyze
some examples of sentences expressed through signs withhout spoken words.
